We couldn't JUST create a beautiful book for everyone at your wedding or civil ceremony to write their best wishes in. 'Tis true, it's beautiful; we can't deny that it comes in a frosted box to keep it safe forever and there is no getting over the fact that the paper is fantastic quality. It's just that Sarah wrote a message to your guests on the first page which will hopefully inspire them (or frighten them) to write something extra lovely or witty or profound. Of course, if you do JUST want a lovely entirely blank book for your special day, you could tear out the message (it's spiral bound).
